The Clarion Academy
About Us
The Clarion Academy is part of The Clarion Voice organisation a non-partisan political group of African Heritage individuals who came together to effect political literacy/education amongst members of their communities.
African Heritage implies all people of African ancestry, for example: Africans, African-Caribbean , African-Americans and African Mixed Heritage. The ethos of 'The Clarion Voice' is to promote the importance and benefits of political participation and representation.
The Clarion Voice organisation strives to demonstrate the link between political participation and representation and the betterment of African Heritage peoples' life experience with regards to education, employment, business, economic well being, health care, housing etc, arguably politics is everything and everything is politics.
The challenges include identifying facilitators and future leaders – not necessarily community leaders but political leaders from within the communities - to help turn the vision of The Clarion Voice into a real and meaningful positive life experience for many African Heritage people.
