Key Objectives

1. Advance the education and well-being of children and young people from African Heritage communities residing in the UK by:

 

1.1. Promoting education within African Heritage communities.

 

1.2. Working with private sector schools, further and higher education institutions to help them address the under-representation within their institutions of children and young people from African Heritage communities.

 

1.3. Encouraging African Heritage children and young people to view themselves as ‘Global Citizens’.

 

1.4. Providing them with opportunities to develop their civic, corporate, educational, entrepreneurial, political, cultural, artistic and spiritual leadership potential.

 

1.5. Appropriating opportunities to broaden their horizons through internships, apprenticeships, and local, national and international volunteering.

 

1.6. Providing pastoral guidance and care to support them and their families throughout their educational career. Positive aspects of post-slavery African history across the globe.

 

2. To relieve the poverty and financial hardship of children and young people from African Heritage communities in the UK by:

2.2. Enhance the economic and social well-being of African Heritage communities.
