Supported by the Academy that are popular with students and enjoyed by staff.

 

These include trips to places of interest such as the National Slave museum in Liverpool, Shakespeare Centre at Warwick and​ National Train Museum in York.

On the more active side, outward bound days are organised at the Leicester Outward Bound Centre where students can try canoeing abseiling and other outward bound pursuits such activities not only develop self confidence but also widen the knowledge on the importance of our history.

We also encourage students to take their Duke of Edinburgh Award scheme.  The Academy also supports active involvment with ASDAN a social enterprise with awarding body status, providing courses to thousands of UK and international schools, colleges, youth centres and training providers.
