The Role of the Parents

Expanding the role of parents in education is a key policy goal of the Academy. We value the relationships between families, pupils and the Academy.  The Parents are expected to be actively involved in the work of the Academy, supporting the pupils is not something done for them but along side.

 

Parents are expected to attend monthly meetings and act as volunteers for the Academy.

 

Family Support Forum

The Family Support Forum is a vital component of the Academy that affords parents/carers the opportunity to maximise their participation in the Academy. In addition to family meetings each month parents/carers are expected to attend as part of the contractual agreement upon joining the Academy.
