"In year 2, I won the best overall student and was very happy to receive a trophy for this. I was pushed academically by my favourite teacher, Miss Burton, and gained grades that allowed me to try and attempt to go to Nottingham High School. This was my own idea and my target was to get into this well-known private school. Therefore, I decided to ring the reception and try the exam.

I succeeded on my second attempt and got into year 6. This was the best year of my life by far and I enjoyed every moment I had there. I now wish to keep up my education and would like to go to Rugby School. Rugby School invited me to travel there and have a look around. The experience was greater than I thought and the boys there were very helpful and joyful especially Jacob (A boy who showed me around) and the Mitchell House boys."
