Many football fans will have heard of Linvoy Primus, a Premier League footballer who played for a number of clubs including Barnet, Charlton and Portsmouth. What many will not know is how his career in football had transformed his life and his strong commitment to the Christian faith.

In September, Linvoy visited Leicester from his home near Portsmouth to give an inspirational talk to a local Village Community in Leicestershire

In his remarkable autobiography, a sell-out in hardback in 2007, he told the inspirational story of his life in football and how, through his amazing conversion to Christianity, he triumphantly overcame disillusionment, lack of self-belief and numerous rejections so that his own life and career were totally transformed.
