One of the most progressive football clubs in Nottinghamshire are to become a partner with The Clarion Academy. Much travelled Roger Henry, Director of Real United, is well-known in the community for supporting young people’s aspirations. "When I learned of the work of The Clarion Academy, I felt it was a perfect match to encourage young people to do better in the Education field, whilst football is a conduit for our boys, they have to recognise that football is not the 'be all or end all'.

At a recent club function, the Lord Mayor of Nottingham, Cllr Merlita Bryan, praised the club for the way his young players are beginning to believe in themselves and being encouraged to take advantage of new opportunities.
